Happens when scrolling through a user’s posts. Slowly drifting away from the “safety” of usub and into utter oblivion.

I've made a hobby of browsing random and still leaving comments. its not creeping... its archaeology!

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't worry about it. I just commented on you cookie post from 4 years ago.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I browse by random a lot and leave comments on 6 year old posts

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

6 months ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Done that so many times

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don’t mind. If anyone finds something old I’ve posted comment-worthy, I’ll appreciate it. I will probably reply too. Is there a statute of limitations on these frivolous things?

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’ve built in a contingency for this exact scenario.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Love seeing an old post with comments 1 point under a notification and upvoting them.

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I've had replies on comments I made months or years ago. It doesn't make me think the person is weird. It just fascinates me. Like, how'd you get all the way back here, buddy?

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No worries; as someone who's had a couple drop on my ancient posts/comments, It's actually nice to get! Unless you're being mean or being a jerk or something. But otherwise, it's nice to see.

6 months ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I agree! Sometimes people post on kittens I had years ago and it’s so nice to revisit that time and those babies!

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I agree

6 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I've seen posts so old that you can no longer reply to them at all. There's just no replybox.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've done that sometimes. I didn't even realize I had strayed out of usersub and into someone's posts

6 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

I do it a lot. If you upvote an old comment that’s at 7 points, they will get a notification that their comment has 8 points. It feels great, could be years later.
If Usersub is boring, I go mining through time.

Your welcome for the 8th :))

I just randomly upvoted an old post of yours +1

6 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I think it's fine. Just be aware you might accidentally be talking to someone who's long dead. And try not to get into arguments, you don't know how people's opinions might have changed over the years.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There are places where there are no upvotes... do not go there.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't know why it seems taboo to comment on old posts... Let's make P.O.O.P(posting on old posts) great again...

6 months ago | Likes 99 Dislikes 1

it's the expectation that another person cares. I'm not deep diving into 5 years ago because you found something to disagree with. It's funny when telling them this makes that person mad. "oh, you are a coward for not engaging with me on a 5yo subject that would take digging up the comment thread first to have any context."

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think it's a holdover from the days where forums were big, where necroposting (especially in a forum where people are looking for help) made it harder for everyone to find current conversations and issues.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Definitely not taboo, but encouraged. Sometimes I'll browse random and if I have a contribution of outstanding wit I'll see if the poster/ commenter is still active then post

6 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Necroposting for the win! Shit, I just realized I should have put this message on your oldest post. oh well. next time.

6 months ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

I usually don't comment on old posts, but I will upvote comments that are at 7 points, so they get a notification. This way I stay anonymous.

6 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I just did that to your comment

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Only if we can get tshirts that say p.o.o.p. poster

I justaccidentally sent a semi erotic picture to a rando on Pinterest...life is awkward sometimes lol

6 months ago | Likes 106 Dislikes 5

I, very recently, found out people actually use pinterest. It's generally a cancer in search results

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Best way to make up for that is to send one to a rando on imgur.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can't say that and not post it here.

6 months ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

6 months ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

normally everything I do is calculated, but I'm only human

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I did this on accident before scrolling Pinterest too! Dropped my phone on my fat head and it hit a bunch of buttons and sent a random image to a random person.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How semi is semi?

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

not too semi, but still enough semi that I'll mark this NSFW

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Accidentally.

6 months ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 0

"erotic"

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

how would your describe it?

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm beginning to think I have zero cred around here

6 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Pinterest is such a broken app, as soon as you save a pin, it brings up a list of other users and if by some chance you happen to inadvertently tap one, it immediately shares that pin with that user. and in the Pinterest chat, you cannot delete messages. so, yeah. I'm apologizing a lot

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pinterest should just rebrand itself "You thought you got a useful Google image search result? Haha fuck you" (I realize this is a long name for a website)

6 months ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

I use it to stockpile images related to my fetishes...I usually just go on a boner binge and then close the app

6 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Where specifically would we find these (presumably public) pin boards?l
