My PiNAS project, part 44, external DC power out

The 1U server section of this system doesn't have an AC power supply, but the 2U SAS backplane does. Since the BP's PSU has plenty of headroom, I figured I may as well power the server section with it.

These panel mount "aviation" connectors fit the bill for the expected current.
12v, 5v, and 2 grounds, 14AWG x4
The server section contains the RPi5, 3 SSDs, and 3 slot powered PCIe devices (Switch, HBA, NIC).

I'll be adding the hole to the final 3D models, but for now I just added it manually. No 15mm drill bit so I just traced the connector, then used a soldering iron and blade tip to cut/melt the ABS. The tip can be cleaned with acetone

I've been considering those aviation plugs for my apple build but they didn't have the chooch, they're an elegant solution.
