#5 memory storage was so bad back then he only managed to get the terms and conditions, and he had to use three, err, two tablets for them.

#10 This is pretty much the only thing that made me laugh today. It's so stupid, I love it.

#12 If the space suit does not come with a cape I am not interested. https://museumcrush.org/the-british-interplanetary-society-lunar-spacesuit/

#8 this only works if you assume that all future calls also belong to the Set of which the average is taken. Otherwise you can justvkeep increasing the amount of calls that come in.You also have to account for what average you compare to. Yearly will be different from hourly average.

That was fantastic. Wish I'd seen it when it was put up... 13 years ago?!?

#7 can relate to this logic, see it every day... nice way to explain the unexplainable...

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#8 we're closed 16 hours per day, so then the call volume is 0

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#8 it can be how it works if the call volume keeps increasing enough everyday.

#15 From slightly more than half the Earth, and night has nothing to do with it.

#7 That is also the sun's light at night. Checkmate.

I always figure that's tied to why vampires have no reflection. The burn in sunlight, but if they don't reflect, they wouldn't burn in moonlight.

#13 man I wish I could find this in real life 🥲🙏

It would make your fortune! And please millions of kids

Nah I kinda wanna discover vampire’s but then again you hear all the horror stories

I saw science and maths mentioned and I’m glad I continued, these are the lessons I needed to learn

Many of these are a style of stupid that I enjoy, but my wife does not enjoy. So I read them to her.

#13 Someone might find this offensive.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I don't think it's inherently offensive, but I do fully intend to send it to my friend who has become obsessed with all things UAP & that stupid pinata masquerading as a three-fingered alien. I hope and expect that, with the proper message, it will be offensive.

#14 having Mondays off is the best thing that's ever happened to my job. Except I'm terrified it's gonna end any day now.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I used to have Wednesdays and Saturdays off. Only having to work 2 and 3 days in a row more than made up for not having two days off together.

#7 I've worked with people that would unironically claim this. I did work with a guy (in an exceptional restaurant) who insisted the moon was the back of the sun

1 year ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure he was quoting the janitor for Scrubs.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Entirely possible. I loved that show, but it's been a while

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How did he explain seeing them both at the same time?

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Never thought to ask, he got to be too much very quickly. I'd imagine he'd say that can't happen & it was a trick of the eye. Or, possibly, he'd have an explanation so twisting, you'd regret having asked.

#7 this is what it feels like to be the reliable helpful friend for too long, then Bob does 1 nice thing.

1 year ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

Bob doesn't even do 1 nice thing, just passes along something YOU did and takes credit

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And you mess up once, even just a little. And you're the devil. They mess up all of the time and they're the best!

#9 - refract. gives them time to refract. Although there is some reflection in a prism, someone had to be that guy. *raising hand*

John Young is not so young, or the police have no critical thinking. I'm going with John Young being a vampire.

#7 Just to mess things up completely, let's now consider how the moon merely reflects sunlight.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

That can't be right, or the moon would be yellow! Like cheese.....

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Idiot. The moon is made of GREEN cheese, not Kraft Singles.
