Yeah, but I still get a good hour of scrolling up each day. I've been blocking political posters and have max tags blocked. I've been doing it since 2016 and apparently I've done pretty well, because I only see 5-10 posts in an hour or two. I hate that I see that many, but it's better than it would be otherwise

You have to mute users now. I have politics and Israel/Hamas etc blocked, still see the garbage. If a post pops up, I just check the poster's history. More than 1 post on the topic, they're on the block list. No hurt feelings, no one knows, cleans up my feed.

This site has become so progressively bad it's genuinely absurd. I don't mind politics but things are so questionably moderated. If only untagged political posts actually got them forced or the posts removed in the same way they censor things even perceived as lewd (not that they're able to determine this logically or reasonably) at least you wouldn't have to dig to find anything fun.
