These are some of the fossils that we found last weekend on the Yellowstone river around Terry Montana. The big bone imprint was pretty exciting.

So we poured water on them to try and make the fossils stick out more. The majority was plant life. Besides that, the Yellowstone is filled with broken fossils like this right now due to historic flooding this spring. I suspect next year is going to be really intense on the Yellowstone for fossils and agates cause she is going to flood again and reveal even cooler stuff! Hurray for free activities and a love for the outdoors!

We think this is a septarian nodule. We left it like the rest.
