I'm getting half a smoked turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, candied yams, green bean casserole, and a pumpkin pie from a local barbecue joint for Thanksgiving.

Cook up some frozen cranberries..

Yeah, I actually neglected to ask if it includes cranberry sauce. I should call them or send them an email to verify, and pick up some if it doesn't.

Haha I'm one of "those". I like the gelled kind of cranberry sauce.

Same! Cheap canned jellied cranberry sauce >>> fancy stuff.

I eat that stuff straight out of the can. My family is very divided on this.

Ya I have done that too. I can only get thru about 1/3 of the can. The tartness here to be too much.

It tastes better with the can ribs

I'd rather have the canned than nothing for sure. It's not that different.

Well I think the gelled cranberry sauce is a more mild flavor. Plus I love the consistent texture.

It tends to be more sweet than the fancy stuff, in my experience.
