We don't need real people anymore

Jul 27, 2025 10:49 PM

That's a bunch of racist, body shaming crap

Comments on their Instagram claim their models are "original creations" and don't use any real models as reference, so I made the following comparisons to show they are just straight up lying

Campaign model "Vivenne" very obviously took influence from Doutzen Kroes

And even less attempt to hide that this model is Victoria secret model Adriana Lima, or that the outfit is using Alessandra Ambrosio's look from the 2014 Victoria Secret show for reference.

And you might say, well so what. The so what is AI has the capability to collapse entire industries, if you don't need a real human to model in your campaign, then you don't need makeup artists, photographers, stylists and the piles of other people who are employed behind the scenes.

Netflix just released it's first film that uses AI generated effects, because they "couldn't afford" actual CGI artists.

Big companies will always watch their bottom line, any way they don't have to pay someone, they will do that.

Voice artists that voiced cartoons, narrated instructional videos, are the voice on your self checkout machine, are seeing AI copy their voices without consent or compensation, and then replace them in jobs.

Artists who illustrated ad campaigns, created commercials and are responsible for art you see in the public eye, from album art to bus ads are having their work train AI, so it can do those jobs with stolen data.

And now it has come out that Facebook users who have iPhones are at risk of META AI accessing their camera rolls, INCLUDING pictures that have not been uploaded to FB, with their new feature.

Stay smart, don't outsource your brain, train yourself on what is real and what isn't.

You can follow people like @cahdoria on IG who are working to help people learn to recognize AI

THE TECHNOLOGY IS NOT ADVANCED ENOUGH FOR THAT
Luigi, we need you.

Well, the internet was fun. So what are y'all going back to? Me, I'm getting a ham radio license.

AI- I hate it with all of my being, and I know it feels the same about me

i do not think AI "cares" about any of us

Might as well hate an electrified rock for the path it chooses to roll downhill. It doesn't hate back. Whoever is on top mindlessly pushing these rocks off the hill is the real trouble.

AI doesn't think about you at all.

Photoshopped models aren’t pretty enough for the fashion industry anymore? Shocker. (/s)

Pretty enough, but they sure do cost more with their need for a paycheque and employment rights.

Paying humans for labor is always one of the biggest costs for a company, so it's clear that they want to cut that as much as possible. Imagine all the profits but without those damn humans taking away your "fair" share of that!

So essentially...barbie.

"Raises concerns on beauty standards." Are you high. Since the beginning of modeling and those forsaken fashion magazines, there have been unrealistic beauty standards for decades. AI will make it worse, you know it and you don't give a flying fuck cause you wanna sell your crap.

AI has no copyright, so any image created is 100% fair game for fucking around with.

We should limit creating people with AI to Matt Stone and Trey Parker, and no one else

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They haven’t used real, unedited photos for decades, might as well use fake people too now.

Can we all realize how bad a job generative AI is doing here though? These faces look like several different people, and every single one of them looks like a blend between 2 or 3 celebrities in a way that's somehow very recognizable. More than one looks like an almost exact 50-50 blend of Denise Richards and Margot Robbie for example

Technically you also look like a mix of several different people.

The muscle structure and tension never look right either. I really have to question some people who fall for the most obvious ones though, I can

*I can't see how they do.

Fat fingered the keyboard <,<

It's very simple for me. So long as the law requires companies to say if they're using AI, I will then know not to use those companies

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It is not required in the UK

Stop making AI do the fun shit! Make it do the tedious shit that everyone hates doing.

AI isn't good enough for that. Besides, if the peasants were happy and comfortable, billionaires wouldn't be able to enjoy their lives. They're dependent on human misery to feel alive.

looks like that Denise Richards one from starship troopers
