Jet Black, Black, and Ink are all 0/0/0 RGB. How are they supposed to be different from each other?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There was probably some color information lost at some point. I'm sure it's different in the original file.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m not white I’m DAISY!!!!

I love when something is described as "puce" bc you never know whether they actually mean puce or puce green. Sometimes color names suck.

Check, please.

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

You could have just said it's a colour variant of nephrite.

7 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

The idea of naming colours is surely so that when you say it, people have an idea of the shade you mean. When you say "jade", people >

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Interestingly jade comes in all sorts of colors. :) FE: green, red, purple, blue, white, and black. But I agree, my first thought is green.

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

As jadeite is almost always green it's understandable to call it green. Nephrite on the other hand can be almost anything.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jade can be either jadeite or nephrite. Jadeite can be blue or purple but those are very rare compared to all the greens.

My thoughts exactly.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Even on a oled screen you can't really tell them apart

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's like perfect for trying to calibrate the colors on my two monitors to be close to each-other. Cant see shit on the black in one of them

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Most monitors won't show proper colors without a lot of setting tweaks... mine does though - I'm just a smidge better than you, I guess.

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

my phone cannot display these worth shit. 3 of em are the same colour. But my monitor at home does it perfectly.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Missing "Slightly Darker" black.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It helps if you tilt the screen forward a bit.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It looks like most of it is the same color to me.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That’s so racist!!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Most monitors/phone screens can't actually display black very well. It's surprisingly hard to display a lack of color.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Oh really Woodhouse? Or are ten of them black and the other ten a slightly darker black?

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I can make out Charcoal, Soot, and Coal. The rest look exactly the same.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

change the saturation of your screen. I can make out all of them if I change it up a little.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah but that's cheating.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

depends. if my screen is bright enough I can't even see golden texture on white background.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

because a) reposted images get recompressed over and over again, which decreases color palette. b) even if you have decent monitor, it's

7 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 2

almost certainly not calibrated. because proper calibration is a bitch and not needed for normal pc users.

7 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

So you are saying the intensity of the black is the same but underlying base differs?

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

no, I think they're misrepresented entirely. jade is green, for example.
