SOMEONE has to link Clownvis' Clown Motel. And if no one else will do it, then I'll do it myself. https://youtu.be/94yNdFq3iSA

Love me some Clownvis

Oh my goodness thank you so much

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Omg Clownvis got his own motel!? Fucking ay! That's my old Facebook buddy!

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He has a song about the motel, they made a room and named it after him.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

His portrait from inside

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I was there just yesterday!

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Or not. We could not talk about it.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I went there on a road trip a month back, it's everything you would expect it to me. It had two custom channels stuck on IT 2, and The Shining on an endless loop and there were claw marks on the inside of the bathroom door, rat shit in the closet and an open electric box. Loved the place, great pizza down the road! Did some cool paintings.

It reminds me of Novac from Fallout New Vegas

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

We have all these radioactive clown figurines that we just can't seem to get off our hands.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Reminds me of Robert Novak, that ghoulish clown-looking bastard

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a truck driver, I have passed by there many times. And I will continue to do so. Pass by. Never stop. Never.

2 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

Sounds like from dusk til dawn situation.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tonopah is a dusk til dawn kinda town, for sure.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this Large Marge?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Can't sleep, clown will eat you. Can't sleep, clown will eat you. lol

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Nah, it's safe, don't worry. They got a robot sheriff to keep the peace.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Until your truck decides for you at 2am, you mysteriously have no cell or radio signal, a dense fog sets in and the only place with someone at the counter to ask for help is the clown motel.

There's is a spout hanging from his fucking cock

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

That's the knob. His knob. You crank it.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's how you get off

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think that is his cock.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Not a spout -- a handle. It's how you turn it on.

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Does it get turned on by every naked person that walks in?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

this is way funnier if you sub in the words my family uses. My son calls them birthday monsters, and my husband calls them collection of dead people

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Isn't that the site of a Rob Zombie film?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was thinking the same thing.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

wife and i stayed there last week. its dirty, very dirty. not recommended at all. bathroom floor was covered in dirt/hair/filth of people before us

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why was this never a Supernatural episode????

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I'm on mobile and can't get a link to it but. I highly recommend "The boys" video on this motel. Some of it seems staged but their other haunted location visits are just as good if not convincing.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Friendly reminder that people have fucked in there.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A lot of people have a lot of fucked in there. And in the motel, too, probably.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Can anyone stay there or is it restricted to practitioners of the clowning arts?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This will answer all your questions. https://youtu.be/aeKoAm8AcbQ

It is not that isolated, it is right on the road though the town. It is a pretty cool place to stay if you are ok with low end motels.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

tye problem is they charge like its a regular hotel, not a low end Motel

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was there quite some time ago, and the price was comparable to Motel 6 and such. I did not even know it was anything special, I was just driving, it was late, I stopped at a first place on a way. Only in the morning I discovered the cemetery.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It looks like themed rooms are expensive, but regular motel rooms are fine. I guess if you are going for the theme, you need to pay more.

Musk's new headquarters

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

tonopah is such a weird town to drive through. the highway that cuts through town has that old west narrow street vibe, and it's the oldest town you drive through going south so it just feels out of place after you pass the truck stops. really sweet people running that motel, though.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

This was the inspiration to a Cod map iirc

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All it needs is some red balloons.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nevada. It's where old clowns go to die.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had students in second grade who would search for this on Google earth and then try to show me..... nope I'm good, keep that shit to yourselves

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ley lines. Just sayin.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

this feels like the oposite of the ley lines theory. like a clown motel next to a graveyard, out in the desert, sounds like a terrible location for your desired demographic. then again, I have seen what some of the rooms look like. some rooms are friendly, while others are definitely "Murder Clown" themed.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We guarantee you love our rooms or we bury you next door.

Some pics from my last visit /a/n55jyb8

Oh THIS is Hotel California.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are you dead?

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Not that I last checked, but guess I'm in the right place today (at the hospital [not in])

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How are the rooms? Are they creepy with clowns painted on the ceiling staring down at you? Is it seedy?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Never stayed there, I usually stay hat the haunted victorian era Mitzpah Hotel down the road a bit. It looks like a 1960s era motel

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Last visit? Like....... more than one? Voluntarily?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There is lots of great desert to explore around Tonopah. I also work in old Nevada towns a lot (geologic engineer that cleans up pollution). I haven't stayed there, I prefer the "haunted" hotel dowm the street.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

More haunted than a graveyard-adjacent clown motel?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Victorian murdered ladies make the best ghosts

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did you feel isolated?

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

No, it's in town, a small nevada town, but I'm used to travelling along across nevada.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Ah sorry- it was the op’s isolation comment I was referring to:)

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I liked the pics btw

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ah, most people would probably feel isolated there though. I'm not normal LOL

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Ha- define ‘normal’. I ended up doing two weeks alone in the US because things went pear shaped. Best time I ever had;) Isolated clown motel? Bring it on;)

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They are presently redoing the front

It's still under construction. They added some more paintings on the outside, though

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I love the new paintings!!! I'll have to stop by again. Maybe make a visit at night with my clown squeekers in my pockets.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Clown squeekers are life.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So you were there last night but your user name tells me you work there

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Look in my posts about my name, it's my job. And I didn't say last night...I do clown a bit though

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im gonna choose to continue believing you’re a serial killer

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sounds like something a serial killer would say

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't forget its just down the street from a Haunted Hotel (where I usually stay in Tonopah)

2 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 2

I stayed there once with my hubs! We rented the room with the wagon bed lol.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oregon trail, nice!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Isnt this place haunted too?

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Nope, completely safe.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Not that I've heard, it's pretty new motel compared to the old mining town. The Mitzpah Hotel is quite famous for being haunted by a lady ghost. It was a luxury hotel in the heyday of Tonopah

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Mom graduated from the high school there in Tonopah, and she's told multiple stories about Mitzpah Hotel and a bunch of other weird shit that happened there.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Many paranormal groups have gone there. I think it’s because of the close proximity to the cemetery that there has been activity

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The cemetary is by the clown motel, but they aren't related, idk I don't believe in ghosts so don't really pay attention. I love old cemeteries. I even lived on same property as one for a while and next to another. Never saw any ghosts

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Supposedly there was a woman who was murdered on the 5th floor in the early 1900’s. The story is that she was a popular sex worker at the time, and one of her jealous lovers stabbed her to death. Rooms 502-504 used to be one big room, and that’s where her ghost likes to chill. Allegedly.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(Whoops, this was meant to be a reply to the comment above)

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ha I g been through Tonopah, I have a hard time believing it’s heyday merited anything luxury

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not much on history? It was one of the richest mining districts in the US, and it reflected that. It had lots of entertainment (fancy opera houses etc.), saloons, and nice hotels. Howard Hughs, one of the richest men in the world chose to get married there

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More a comment on the current state of the town, circa 2015 or so. To be fair, it was never more than a stop on the way to Reno, never gave it more@of a chance than I did Ely
