He's not even mid 40%, he's averaging 42.1%. The only thing keeping his number that high is the cult. Independents give him a 29% approval, Democrats a 2%, and Republicans a 89%. They're truly brainwashed morons.

IMO, it's indifference stemming from "I got mine" and fear. People are so scared to lose what they DO have, that they won't fight for what they COULD have. It's INSANELY hard to try and tell someone "Yeah, we're all going to strike to show them we mean business!" The reality is people can't just up and do that without fear of losing their jobs, homes, families, etc. too. They have us where they want us; too broke to fight back, but not so broke that we're willing to actually risk it.

I'm against it, but it has been proven that without Federal policy to prevent it, it will happen. Democrats NEED to fight fire with fire. There are currently 15 states that are considered gerrymandered; 4 are Democrat states and 11 are Republican. If Democrats don't do it, they will literally be gerrymandered out of office. Democrats need to do it hard, win, then pass Federal standards to make it illegal to do.

It's up to people like this to remember that Trump doesn't do what he does alone. It is the ENTIRE Republican party that enables him. There in no middle ground here, you either are against this and vote Democrat or you're part of the problem.

Way too oversimplified, and frankly, just a "perfect world" pipe dream. You know what happens when there aren't workers in the fields? The food rots. When there aren't truck drivers to get the food from place A to B? No food on the shelves. No one to run sanitation? Rampant disease. No one working at power plants? No electricity. Yes, the mega rich shouldn't exist, but that doesn't negate all those other things that still need to remain for society to exist.

40 hour work weeks was the compromise we came to with the bosses instead of dragging them out into the streets and unaliiving them in front of their families. Maybe it's time we return to our roots to get our hours lowered again.

We really need to move to ranked choice voting if we're going to allow losers to stay in the election, but as independents. We've got two morons here who can't accept they lost so instead they're willing to siphon votes off of the Democrat. They're truly sore losers and DINOs

Aww, what's wrong Cuomo, lost the primaries so hoping to gum up the election in hopes that "If I can't have it no Democrat can."

If only it worked that way, maybe we'd have some honest "Christians"

Considering Trump and Putin have basically told Zelenskyy that he has to give Russia whatever they want and Zellnskyy has told them repeatedly that invaded lands are a non-starter, yeah, the expectations are nil. I hope Putin offers Trump some tea during their meeting.

I was thinking something akin to the only time you would ever see massive groups facing you was when you were in battle, but the judgement / leadership role also makes sense.

I've said it kind of half joking before, but the best thing the US could do is allow for a modified Confederate state secession and then the true America, isolate the Confederate America completely. Then offer financial relocation out of those states for any American citizens who want to stay in America with a deadline to get out. After that, wall the Confederate states off and close the borders to not allow them in.

Really would be nice if all the businesses out there just straight up refused anyone MAGA. Take their picture, tell them to get out of the restaurant, go about your day. There's absolutely no reason we should be accepting Nazis.

They are, as long as they keep them in their opinions in their private lives or accept that if they make them public, that there will be blowback from it.

They know, which is why they have them. They hope people just get frustrated and hang up.

If you think that's being cynical or shitting on Democrats, that's a YOU problem. WE just lost an election horribly to a literal convict, rapist, and more. They literally had a playbook on how they were going to destroy the country. You want me to sit there and go "Yep, Democrats are doing great!"? Well I'm not. Democrat polling is at a near 3 decade low. We have no unified message other than "See, I told you so! At least I'm not a Republican so vote for me!" 2/2

What's going on is a start, but it's not enough. We need the entire party to be vocal about this and start taking action from other states to fight against it, not just say they will. Like it or not, those Democrats in Texas WILL have to go back at some point and when they do, Republicans will pass the redistricting. Democrats in other states need to do the same, now, not wait until it happens in Texas. I'M tired of Democrats waiting to react, instead of being active. 1/

There's the rub; he never cared about them in the first place, he only wanted their vote to keep himself out of jail. So once again, he's lying here, he never had any faith in anyone to begin with.

It is the new normal for Republicans, so Democrats can either get down in the trenches and fight back or sit back and do nothing, clinging to the "BuT tHe NoRmS aNd DeCoRuM!" while Republicans are corruptly removing the Democratic party from existing and ensuring their authoritarian rule.

#1 if it were only about the few crumbs, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. That said, it's not just about the crumb. It's "Hey, I found a crumb here one time, so what else you got in these cabinets? Let me just chew some holes in there to see what you got and bring a few thousand of my buddies so we can all check it out too."

I don't think I've ever seen an ad for a product that I would buy and frankly, like 90%+ of them are for some shitty mobile game or scam service.

5 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If they had one, maybe two 30ish second ads at the beginning of each video that couldn't be skipped and that was all the ads there were, it wouldn't be as big of a problem, but that's not how they do things.

Because it's impossible to unite people to give up what little creature comforts they have, even for the greater good. Instead of "Yes, we should boycott the games!" it's "Well, not THIS game that I enjoy, but the others!" Multiply that by millions to billions of people, and you see the problem.

1) Is that an average of ALL births not just first births, which google drops to 27.5 2) Different studies have different average ages 3) The average age has been increasing over time, meaning the parents of current people having kids were younger when they had their first kids. 4) Averages mean there are people older and younger accounted for. So the math maths fine.

Raise the current corporate tax rates, eliminate the tax loop holes, force any company that makes over $5M in gross income to pay the maximum tax rate on their income, and then offer the incentives like he's asking for.

In their 40s? You mean GRANDPARENT AGE?!?! Wish I could /s that, but legitimately, mid 40s - early 50s is statistically around the average age of becoming a grandparent.

It's ALL Republicans, not just Trump, period. So next election, you either stand against them or you don't REALLY feel shame, guilt, or anger.

6 days ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yep. Republicans have made it clear that "decorum" and "The norms" no longer apply, so we can no longer sit here and pretend "If we just reach out to them, maybe this time they'll meet us in the middle!" No, they are the opposition party, period. They can meet us where we demand or we can go at it alone, making it clear that "We wanted to give you X, but REPUBLICANS said no. If you want this, you HAVE to vote Democrat, period."
