What is this source, because I'd like to read everything else this author has written.
I fled. No, seriously, I fled before inauguration day. I'm trans, I've read a history book. I'm trying to become a screenwriter, try to culture-bomb society. Managed to get into the Irish National Film School, not an easy feat; that gives me Stamp 2 visa protections.
I showed my parents where in Project 2025 the blueprint for genocide was. They still voted for Trump. What else can I take from that other than they want me dead?
To be fair, conservatives literally thought Colbert was the conservative answer to the liberal Stewart. It even fooled the people who invited him to the White House Correspondants' Dinner.
Anyway...
You don't clean it. You wipe it.
I would not put it past them to recruit teenagers
I'm poor and moved to another country. Granted, I'm also trans so I had more of a reason to get the fuck out. Did you know that an AirBNB in Merida, Mexico is only $500/mo, and Americans can stay there for up to 6 months without a visa?
I know this is furry fetish art, but this just seems nice and wholesome to me for some reason. My brain has been permanently rewired into "sicko" mode.
It's not just that they're paid off, but there are incentives at play; you *cannot* viably run for office *unless* you are paid off. A TED Talk from a more enlightened time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWeoeqXPOqQ

My Mom and Dad (we're now estranged.)
My parents are Trump voters. They kicked me out of the house.
Donald Trump is in my prayers every day. Specifically, the "Deliver us from evil" part.
My experience with anti-depressants is that they prevent me from falling *too far* into despair. It doesn't raise the roof, it just prevents the floor from going too deeply. The only pill that allowed me to have happiness, finally, turned out to be estrogen. I figured out I'm a trans woman at the age of 43. I'm going to talk to my doctor about tapering off my antidepressants.
Jesus... this is the worst "orphan crusher" feel-good story ever.
I just left the country for Mexico. Then because I couldn't find a visa sponsoring job, worked my ass off to get into grad school. In two days, I fly to London (to see some old friends) then I start my new life in Dublin, Ireland.
Yes, and it's the best incentive for high school kids to keep their grades up.
To be fair, it's *absolutely okay* for an elementary school kid to be *ignorant.* That's *why* they go to school, after all. But adults? That's the problem -- they're not *learning* anything in school.
Among other things? Maher is a transphobe.
That's actually the current meta plot line in Marvel Comics. Doom succeeds in running the world. And he's not doing a bad job.
I had no intention of doing that before reading that sentence.
Dictator chic. This is a man who is *incapable* of understanding *taste*. Who thinks that displaying wealth is more important than displaying competence.
It's just a pet peeve of mine, but I hate the cliche of the vampire having blood dripping from their lips. It's like --- that's you're food. You'd look completely incapable of taking care of yourself if you were a human and that was gravy. Also - why a cup? Drink from the source, where it's warm. You put it in a cup, and it's just going to get all "coagulakey."
...and presumably where the half Thanos snapped were the ones that voted Republican?
Look back 10 years, to 2015, and it was *way* better. 2005 --- sure, the Bush Administration, the war on Terror, but... on the whole... 1995... are you seeing a pattern here?
You know what's really fucking me up? I'm trans. I left the country because I didn't feel safe. BUT, as far as I can tell, they haven't started rounding up trans people in camps yet. "First they came for the latinos," I guess. But what scares the hell out of me is all the people from my old life who are like: "See, you would have been safe if you stayed! You totally overreacted!" I'm like: "Bullshit, I won the world's worst coinflip between 'who does MAGA hate more, queers or immigrants'"
Someone call Spider-man. Mysterio is up to his old tricks.
But she *GOT OUT*, that's the thing. Like... this is very much being a sore winner. When they say: "Get out if you don't like it," they mean "you're scum and deserve to die if you don't like it." All those t-shirts saying: "If you don't like America, I'll help you pack," and yet, when I left, not ONE OFFER.
Rosie O'Donnell never renounced her citizenship. She might. But she hasn't yet.
