Proofreader still exist, 2 friends of mine do this for a living. They work on books and manuals.
Both are great tbh. If I had to choose, I'd say 1 because of the geometric centerpiece and the dotted “borders”.
Yeah it was, and it make sense. Didn't think about the forward speed. I packed enough 'chutes to know that even the best folded one can open in any direction ^^ I had always heard about the altitude argument which is not really true as we used to setup our AAD to open at 1k feet as civilian.
Why airborne unit are not issued rectangular parachutes ? So they can at least steer a little and land safely.
And nobody did a DELETE * FROM * ???! oO
I just call it image-ur as “your” cause that what I read at first. And it does make sense to me for an image host, you know it's your images. The “imager” thing makes no sense to me whatsoever.
That game table is glorious! And kudos for passing the love of Battletech to your kid! I can wait for my nephews and nieces to be old enough to play with them.
Tell me you are not a dev without telling me you are not a dev :D
"Moose in fucking store"
I remember reading a paper stating that FO future is now impossible because the power of our current Abomb is so much that fallout would not occur. That's saying that irradiated materials would be shot so high that by the time they come down there would not be much radioactivity left in the dust. Which is from my pov much scarier as it open the door for nuclear warfare.
Maybe a couple of weeks more before you start to feel it. Possibly a little more. If the goal is to cut back on carbs. But don't underestimate the power of cheat days. When I tried to go for hard, life changing diet, what made it for me was that when it was too hard I would go for some “good carbs” like Takikomi gohan (rice with a lot of veggies and a little meat). For those kinds of things perfection is not mandatory, "good enough" is the name of the game imho.
I would start by suggesting that you change your browser for a really different one as Chrome, opera and even Edge IIRC are all based on Chromium, so basically the same browser with different skin. I would recommend Firefox as it is not run by a data hungry, privacy trespassing Eldrich horror of a corporation. That been said I've never seen a browser take 100% CPU, that something very alarming, but seen 33 subprocesses means you surely have some tabs open, does it happen when you close them?
That is music, so it is indeed art. Metal is a very large musical genre and Japaneses have a taste for mixing different styles even in the same song. I can't say that I like it but, hey you know, not everything have to cater to my taste and all that. :)
Kiddo I could be your father at the very least. :D I don't care for your image, in fact I would have been on your side in this but don't act and brag like a brat then ask others to trait you with a cool demeanor.
Yeah and you're the thought police of imgur and know what everyone must see at all cost even then own mental health. Have you taken even a second to consider some are not from your country and/or don't give a damn because they have their own pb to deal with ? No! You purposely bypass their mean of filtering because you know better.
I learned to code HTML & JavaScript around '98, before that I built my mp3 discography and downloaded tones of films and anime that I used to burn on CD. In 2005 was the start of internet on mobiles (the WAP as it was called), at that time I was working in startups that were making the bricks we used to build the bridge between mobile phones and computers.
More like one brother went to business school and other to a general school. One became a sociopath who will do anything for an immediate and maximum profit as everyone around him and the other have seen peoples from all around and became empathetic. Alas, it appends more than you would want it to.
All cop you said ?
Don't know the English name for it, in French we call it a "mayo(nnaise) box" it is to catch oil/gasoline/coolant reflux. It is actually mandatory to put a bike on a track here.
You could take it as an opportunity to test some other condiments you've never tried and find a replacement, even if it is not tomato and sugar. But to be brutally honest, if the max discomfort you can support for your beliefs is less than to not eat ketchup, you are not gonna help any "cause".
The Doors, this keyboard... I hate it.
Just a little error, "bast" doesn't exist in French, it's “bât" from Latin "bastare" meaning “to carry”. The definition of bât is pretty much what is said, it is something you put on a beast of burden or transport. But I don't think it as anything to do with the word "bâtard". To be honest, the origin of the word are not sure and tend to go to the old German and proto Indo-European. sauce: https://fr.wiktionary.org/wiki/b%C3%A2tard
I never understood pinning insects to boards, for me, it's like having animal heads on the wall. That being said, I don't judge, I'm just curious what is the appeal ? My grandad loved it and I have like half a dozen boards he made himself, mostly butterflies. He also had various stuffed birds maybe that is why I associate the two.
The Wish version at best
Like other said, most people don't do critical thinking, but I would add that I read somewhere (can't remember the source) that a large part of the people don't have an internal monologue. They don't hear themselves in their head. Like some people use a 3D map in their head to navigate and some can not. I find it really funny how a lot of things we all thing everyone do are not at all and a lot of what we are sure to be weird for doing are actually something almost everyone do. :)
I would go with Elbow Taco Pilediver
Feels good to be among peers, yeah? :) Merry Christmas \o/
