As Trump keeps noting, who's going to stop him? Not SCOTUS, not the Joint Chiefs of Staffs of the services. Who?

As soon as professional photographers went digital, it was realized all career image files needed 3 backups. One on site, for immediate access if the prime drive's failed, one off-site, available locally, and a third off-site in a different state/geographic area. The last to account for major weather or geological events where they live. Old salt mines became profitable storage sites for these and other vital records.

Obviously taking water. Ship was upright and pretty much to the Plimsoll line right after launch, then started SLOWLY setting to the port and aft. Pretty useless crew.

I think it was Marx who. observed: the Capitalists would sell the revolutionaries the rope intended to hang them, if there was money to be made in the meantime? Nobody in business is going to boycott anyone significantly. Smart people, however, are going to take lessons, and build new military and economic alliances with other countries who have functional adults as rulers.

Lyrics scan and rhyme. The message bangs. Now for a musician! Part of the message is the damage done from the culture of alcohol. The Amish and other non-drinking cultures have a different narrative. Each culture contains self-damaging elements, few even near the level of alcohol. Spending time and money to get more stupid subtracts from all the positive work and dreams. There are far less harmful ways to self-medicate against stress. Tai Chi? Yoga? Upvoted.

Fresh baby roaches may be from hidden breeding spots in the structure, as well as entry points from outside. My infestation got serious as the roaches established hidden breeding areas I couldn't get to for removal. Fresh entry numbers were never high, Your Mileage May Vary.

Badly installed P traps may not be functioning as intended. Rats swim through them well, roaches don't. Or there are multiple entry points, not all well identified. Typical buildings have Many baby roach size entries. If concerned about exposed Advion, use the pre-loaded plastic baits. I refill these with the syringe product, when the roaches eat all the original poison. This required buying a bag of bait traps, then the 4 pack of refill syringes.

No, use All the methods that work. Advion goes near entry points, and favored feeding points, particularly where food is prepared, and trash containers with foods roaches like inside. My building, the bathroom by a rear entry with junk sealing, and all around the food prep areas. The pros put the stuff on top of hinges for kitchen cabinets, where the roaches hide out daytimes, and pets and children have little opportunity to access the insecticide. If your plumbing has P traps, not a roach entry

The Advion® includes scent attractants, Any roaches in the area search out the product, eat some, and die; young or old. This lasts for weeks between applications, if roaches are coming into the home or apartment from outside constantly. It clears new young hatching out from eggs laid in the area extremely well. This is what the professionals who are hired by our housing complex management use. Not saying boiling water doesn't kill on contact, but once cooled, no longer serving that purpose.

Or a bag of pre-loaded bait traps. Whichever, follow the included directions.

Sterile saline if trying to get the insect to crawl out to get air. Alcohol if stuck and less risk if it's dead during extraction? Alcohol may make it scramble to get out. Why you want an ER MD who has seen all this before, and practiced the work. Advion at Amazon, for a really effective anti-roach measure. Cleared out a terrible roach infestation in less than a week, after trying a number of ineffective products. Available as a big syringe, 4 to a pack, how professional control guys use it.

I'm reading some strong sarcasm in her poster, which is swooshing over a lot of heads here.

Your focus on spelling, and complete ignoring Trump's massive executive over reach and now purely illegal military occupation of cites that didn't vote for him, destroys what little credibility a poster here might enjoy. If the People were to have power, the Red states wouldn't rushing to disenfranchise all demographics that aren't known to be majority Trump voters. For it to be a Democracy, or representative republic, as the Constitution establishes, most of the people have to be able to VOTE.

Better equipment will have a sensor detecting both new material, and worker's hands, in the press control logic. If the guy is easy to replace, probably not.

It works in states where 'landed' latinos are persuaded 'immigrants' are a danger to them. Like ICE cares if they are legally here? Which is working much better than anyone would have suspected. Particularly among right wing Cuban exiles who can't see past their personal histories of generations ago, to the White Nationalist control of the Trump/Nazi/Republican forces. They think they are White, but are as vulnerable to ICE quota arrests as the darkest recent arrival from Equatorial Africa.

State and national legislatures are supposed to represent individual small districts, not a % division of the whole candidate slate by party success in the vote. Both systems have problems, America has long gone for local members elected from small districts where they live. Gerrymandering ruins that. The big problems with either group around how elections are financed, and how each party picks candidates. EU experience with public financing and no private/dark money allowed seems vastly better

The modern observation that every Republican accusation is a confession, is just the latest version of: The Source of Most Suspicion of Others, Is Knowledge of Your Own Self. The Republicans simply can't conceive of anyone not willing to break every law, and violate the Constitution, in pursuit of power. After all, all the people they associate with are.

It doesn't make a difference if the lens can zoom, it wasn't used here. IMO shot is processed from two clips. The lighting isn't the same. The stronger the telephoto lens, fixed or zoom, the shorter the depth of focus. Learned from professional experience with the biggest camera lens Canon sells. We had to follow focus moving people a 1/4 mile away, manually, or with auto focus tracking. This clip shows the girls much closer than the background, a focus that only happens at very small apertures.

You'd think Russians would remember how Napoleon was defeated, finite number of troops, losses soon exceeded supply, went home minus his army, permanently shortening the average height of Frenchmen. Normal military calculations go 3 to 1 deaths on attacking side, Ukraine is easily enforcing more than that. Russia is stretching manpower supply badly already. Seems to have no answer to increasing range of attacks on energy and other infrastructure by Ukraine.

Chinese businessmen are far smarter than Trump. He's out of his league competing with them. Temu is already shipping in whole containers, paying tariffs, then warehousing them in the US for fast shipment. Prices aren't showing much movement so far. They understand market share is more vital to continued business than profit per item. Customer base stays intact.

Mike Dugan is in his 3rd 4 year term as mayor, and in that time, Detroit murder rate has paralleled the national trend down, but not by as much, while aggravated assault and some property crimes, are UP. Mike was a Dem till lately going Independent last year, in anticipation of a run for governor in '26. Overall, Detroit violent crime is still 5 times the national average. (20.07 vs 4 per 1000 residents) Not the record to stand on I'd want to see, to expand his authority.

Most laws and criminal courts are State governed, not city controlled, so irrelevant 'fact'. "Crime" is far more closely associated with economic disparity and lack of opportunity ,other than by criminal means, which is the direct result of most Red state oppression of all minorities and lower economic class generally. All urban areas suffer as dispossessed people leave rural homes, and seek affordable shelter wherever it can be found. Murder rates are closely tied to drug gang competition,

You neglect to consider how many 'progressive' posts and 'purity tests' are by bots and other Red agents, posting to divide Dems when an effective media effort against Trump is gaining traction. If it's costing Trump support, it's Valuable. They understand clearly how to ensure the Dems lose at every level of government, just pit the various groups under the 'big tent' against each other, unlike how Labor won big during the early 20th Century, by uniting, even when having varied goals.
