Also, i was obese most of my life so I am the last person who will fat shame. Beeing obese doesnt make you a bad person, but it effects your body negatively and ignoring reality isnt beeing considerate.

My problem is with the false health claims, I wasnt going into posts with fat people just to say something. I just read something that was wrong and with negative impact so I said something. If I will see a post of someone severly underweight or a bodybuilder filled with steroids claiming this is healthy then yea I would also comment on it to.

The sentence "Weight is not an indicator of health on its own" is a medical claim, and all I said was that obesity is connected to a higher all-cause mortality rate, which is a simple statement of fact. No, I am not the first to say so, but I believe the "healthy at every size" is taking something positive, stopping fat-shaming people, and turning it into something negative by ignoring the facts.

That is just being pedantic, the original post isn't about bodybuilders (which also is very unhealthy) but people who are overweight. I did say it was complicated, but obesity is connected to higher all-cause mortality rates. How is that wrong?

I would say I am just as qualified to say something about health as the person posting this post. And no, when I go to fitness subreddit and someone talks about steroids I also say its a bad idea because of health reasons. I don't see people downplaying the health risks of smoking, people who smoke know its bad but they continue doing it so I have nothing to say. However, when I read someone downplaying the health risks of obesity, I think it does a lot of damage and I say it.

Because they wrote "Weight is not an indicator of health on its own" which is just wrong

Representation is great but obesity has a large impact on all-cause mortality so it has a strong connection to health (but ya, in health everything is complicated). As someone who was overweight most his life, we shouldnt treat people badly because they are overweight but ignoring the damage of obesity is also problematic. We should enourage people to take better care of themselves without saming them.

The issue about Biden's cognitive decline, and Democrats acting like it is fine, isn't mainly a moral issue. It was just a terrible strategy against Trump. As the famous quote goes, "Never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty, and the pig likes it."

They don't have to develop a conscience, a better sense of self-preservation would be enough. They are already winning in life, so why destabilize everything when you are so far ahead?

Rasicts love trump but he didnt win because of racism. He wom becuase people are struggling and he offered (false) hope and a f*** you to the establishment that failed them. If anything, its the left painting his win as a racist mysoganistic win that makes the racist feel like they won. 76 million ppl voted trump, even if only 1% are racist (optimistic) then thats 750k ppl that can generate a lot of heartbrsaking stories

If there is one job where it is reasonable to ask someone to change their looks for its acting. If the role requires a jacked/lean/fat person you can pass on the job or change for it. I can do whatever I want with my body is true, but if your body clashes with (reasonable) job requirements then I can't do the job.

Good for them, but it doesn't mean much when you're considering ~250 million eligible votes. Looking at the overall numbers makes the trend very clear

Ya and many of them probably voted for trump.

Wow, saving democracy and upholding the status quo resonates with people that are thriving in the current system and not people that the system failed. Continue treating these people as racist, mysoganistic idiots and let see how well they vote for your candidate in 2028.

or maybe... it isn't about race and its wealth privilege

No problem, talking from experience. I just lost 45 pounds and while it went easy most of the time at one point hunger and fatigue just went crazy. I tried to push through for a while and it was just miserable. Now I am balancing things out.

Great job! Make sure you take maintenance breaks, stop losing weight for a while, and focus on maintaining your weight. It helps to reduce rebounding. It would be a shame to have all the great work be undone!

as much as I hate defending Ted Cruz, he was 18 at the time this was taken and that is a very cringy age for everyone. I definitely wouldn't want anyone making assumptions about me based on videos taken when I was 18....

Yes, it catered heavily to the fans, but why is it a bad thing? Deadpool was always very clear on what type of movie it was so if it isn't your thing why did you go and see it?

The title is ridiculous (the haircut...) but to be fair - It's not like he has 60B in his savings account. Most of it is probably his part in IKEA which was very much in use.

Very simple! Well if you're helping the people in need you are infringing on the water company's right to profit from their misery.
