The color being almost the same as the background is pretty bad, I suggest either a backdrop, thick outline, or different color

The numbers are a bit hard to make out. Also the score maybe could flash or grow for a second every time you reach a multiple of 100 or something? I have the feeling it's a high energy game but it's missing some kind of rhythm visually like rev

Pretty. I feel like the energy tail needs to handle differently when you move. It could cut a sharp 90 degree angle behind you (tron cycle style) or it should curve and swish like an after-image. Not sure if those brief descriptions are enough to convey my suggestions, but the way it currently "rocks" to one side or another feels off, and I think there's room to make that more satisfying to see.
