If you think that abortion is murder, then ending it would save more live than all those other issues combined.

Yeah you could replace "pro-life" with any of the other causes he mentioned.

What do those other groups "do" that pro-life people don't?

I mean CEOs don't carry any financial risk, shareholders do, The CEO just gets what's in his contract.

No one who understands anything about how businesses work claim that, I mean.

I don't think anyone is claiming executives are taking any risks. Investors literally do though.

JP Morgan was worth $80 million when he died, so probably worth more than 20x his workers.

It's probably including stock options; that tends to far exceed salary for top executives.

How do you know he doesn't support universal healthcare? Do you think you aren't allowed to support healthcare and guns at the same time?

God, not gods. Tolkien was a monotheist.

LotR doesn't have "gods." If they're equivalent to anything they're angels.

France has prisons. If there's a meaningful difference between being a slave and being a prisoner I've never heard it.

So exactly like most student loans in America then.

Yes the first two articles I clicked, AP and Fox, both immediately mentioned terrorism.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Yeah maybe but the comment I replied to was about "men writing history" (who did in fact remember her anyway, hence you hearing about her).

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Yeah can you believe that historians chose to remember Wolfgang Mozart over his sister who could play the piano real good?

Right, so he was an idiot and you're a psychopath.

People are missing the obvious answer which is that the first is a posed picture, i.e. he's probably standing on something.

Many people do. You just need some way to dehydrate the meat. Alton Brown has a way involving fans and AC filters.

And don't forget, it can't be that they were yelling AND resisting. They have to have been complying with the orders of the officer.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really? How about you link an instance where a cop was allowed to use lethal force on a non-resisting suspect because the suspect yelled.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No they can't. As long as you're obeying lawful orders you can legally yell or curse them as much as you want. Read about continuum of force

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're not. But no one else is required by their job to confront and subdue criminals. That carries the necessity to sometimes use force

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 10

Arrested or detained? Because at an active crime scene you sometimes need to detain people until you know who's who

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 13

Yeah people keep saying that. We the 3rd most per student of any country. The issue is our schools suck, not that they're poor.

Education gets far more money than law enforcement.
